LINUS LYMAN

My Mom says I am a little daring and I was probably born around August or September of 2000. I was found as a stray and taken to the Lafayette Indiana Animal Shelter.  No one ever came looking for me and I was not adopted from the shelter because everyone thought I was so hyper and there was also a concern that I either been hit by a car or had a hip problem.  GRRACE was called!!

On February 19th, 2001 I joined my family.  The folks at the shelter had named me Linus and it seemed to fit me.  Mom says I am a goofy looking boy with a long narrow head and low set long ears and my name suits my personality as much as my features seem to. I came with kennel cough and it was soon discovered I was suffering from panosteitis.  They said it was a bone disease I would outgrow but boy does it ever hurt!! I have not been the easiest dog in the world to house train - but I’m all healthy and better now and am growing up to be a very good puppy.

My family says I am pure Sunshine!  I am always very happy and the whole world and everyone and everything in it is a source of joy and wonderment to me.  I love being a lap dog when I can and I am a wiggle butt supreme and have mastered the full body wag. I am working on my counter surfer title next…along with keeping track of where my “kitty” is, that is when I’m not trying to find someone to kiss!

Whenever I have a tough day, I look at Linus and how he enjoys the simple pleasures of life and it makes everything right.
