This is Sydney. I'm a wonderful 8-year-old Golden boy who lived my entire life outside chained to a garage. When I broke my chain a second time and ended up in a shelter, my old owner didn't want to pay to get me back so he told the shelter to find me a new home. Luckily, I was befriended by a volunteer at the shelter who realized that I really was a special boy and kept my spirits up by visiting me almost everyday and bringing me special treats until GRRACE could find a foster home for me.
When I finally arrived at my foster home, I wasn't nervous at all, which is very unusual for a foster dog; in fact, I checked the place out, said "Hello" to the other dogs that lived there, and found a spot to lie down and take a nap to announce to everyone that "I'm home." Needless to say, I was. I melted into my foster family as if I'd been there forever and I now live happily with my GRRACE golden sister, two other dogs, and a cat. I'm a big boy who has confidence, a gentle nature, and lots of personality. I haven't met a human yet that didn't fall in love with me at first sight! With Mary Kay and Dave, every day is: "Hi, Honey! I'm home.
