Abe has been a tremendous friend over the past (nearly) four years, a perfect gentleman and a truly sweet boy. He has brought so much joy to my life as a pet, companion, and as a member of our own small “family.” His loyal personality, sweet face, and wagging tail, made each day special. He is always happiest “helping me” around the house, running errands, and bossing other dogs around at the dog park. He even did very well with a move from Indiana to the Washington, DC area back in 2004. He had come to realize that I was his forever mama, and as long as we were together he would be loved and taken care of. He even enjoyed coming into work with me on slow days and playing with some “very important pets” during working hours.
He’s been the light of my life over the past few years and I will treasure every moment I was able to spend with my first boy. It’s hard to imagine him not greeting me at the door later this week, or him flopping himself on my lap in the evenings. Not a day will go by that I will not think about him or that my heart will not ache to hug him and kiss his muzzle one more time. Thank you GRRACE, for allowing me such a wonderful opportunity to share my life with a wonderful golden boy.
