To everyone at GRRACE, We adopted our wonderful, singing Holly in early early February 2002, as a 6 year old, very overweight and sweet-tempered girl. We loved her for nearly 8 years, as she made us laugh with her peanut-butter-sandwich-snatching antics, and her sweet, sweet temper. She was diagnosed with bone cancer a while back, and we kept waiting for signs that it was taking her away from us. This fall, she began to suffer, and then in December we knew she was no longer herself. We lost her in early December, but we want to thank you for all you do to find new homes for goldens. She was a wonderful girl, and we miss her greatly. We are attaching two photos, one from this summer when she was out in the yard, and one from one of her last days with us.
