A 4H Champion! Devlin, now named Oakley, was adopted in Sept. of 2000. Oakley and Kasie, his new best little friend went to obedience class early on. In 2002 these two decided to do 4-H together, and with the obedience they did earlier were in Level 2. Kasie and Oakley worked very hard all year, and were hoping for a blue ribbon to reward them for their efforts. Oakley was doing pretty good, but there were a lot of dogs with many more years experience so we didn't have high expectations. The evening they gave the awards, they gave Kasie and Oakley not just a blue ribbon but the trophy for highest score in Obedience for Level 2, the trophy for highest score in Obedience overall in all 5 levels, AND for the highest total points for Obedience and Showmanship a beautiful trophy and ribbon for Grand Champion!! When they announced the winner we were all looking the other way, it took a few seconds to even register! What a wonderful surprise! Kasie's feet have not touched the ground yet!! GRRACE extends congratulations to Kasie and Oakley
