Linda Hays
June 3, 1953 – July 3, 2008
Linda Hays, a GRRACE foster mom, Board member and volunteer, passed away on July 3, 2008. Linda began her work with GRRACE in 2000 and during those years, her home was rarely without a GRRACE foster dog. With the love, guidance and nurturing she provided to these dogs, even some of the most difficult, Linda was able to turn them around to be adoptable, loving family members. She will be greatly missed by her family and her GRRACE friends and especially by her fur-kids, Champ (Golden –GRRACE 2000), Sydney (Pug – rescued from a shelter), Parker (Hound mix that Linda rescued in 2006 while walking her dogs one night and seeing a couple of kids beating him with a pipe), and Frankie (Hound that Linda rescued and adopted from a shelter when a rescue that was to take him wasn’t able to). We can only imagine the tremendous welcome she received as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge and was welcomed by all her animals that had already crossed the Bridge.
We will miss you tremendously, Linda – Until we meet again…
