As we enter the holiday celebration season, please take few minutes to make your pets safe and happy. Make sure electrical cords and holiday decorations are secure and cannot become a danger to curious 4-leggers. And, as always, double check the list of "can't have" items. Chocolate is toxic to our dogs, even though they love its taste. Macadamia nuts and raisins are no-no items, also. And, too many sugary or fatty human treats given to pets can cause both tummy upsets and pancreatitis--a severe and painful disorder. Fortunately, just a few minutes of preparing can ensure that all in your home have a happy, safe holiday season!
